Meet The Gosvener Family
Dylan was born and raised in Washington State. Upon meeting his wife Ashley, who was raised in rural Pennsylvania, he knew one day he'd marry her and moved out East to make it a reality. One day they packed up their cars and drove down to North Carolina seeking new horizons, where they now permanently reside. Dylan previously worked in marketing as a Senior Graphic Designer for the largest political marketing firm in the United States.
Before his career in marketing he also worked as a concrete laborer and plumber. Like many young men, he pursued marketing thinking the dream job would satisfy. Older tradesmen would often times urge him to avoid the trades, so he did. However, after working the desk job he chased so desperately, he realized there was something missing in the long hours behind the screen.
"You come to realize the accolades and titles you think matter, really don't. You chase a lifestyle of ease and comfort, just to realize your soul was craving challenge and discipline. I'm finally answering that call from deep within. I love working with my hands, meeting customers, and knowing I'm getting out in the world and making a real difference. Life is too big of an adventure to be stuck behind a screen."
His time in marketing wasn't in vain though, and has shaped his eye for design and his attention to detail. He loves to use those skills for the business and ensure every facet of Alpine Handyman is dialed in.
His beautiful wife Ashley is a dedicated homemaker. Previously a paralegal, she underwent a similar story of getting back to traditional roots. She spends her time in the kitchen, doing photography, answering phone calls, and wearing 100+ different hats to ensure the Gosvener home flourishes. Dylan knows that without a faithful woman by his side, he'd be half the man he is today.
